Your Key Responsibilities

1.     Strategic Leadership & Business Expansion

  • Formulate plans and strategies for the overall business, including brand positioning and identification of market opportunities to drive growth and increase profitability.
  • Develop, implement, and share best practices in sales operations to improve salesforce effectiveness and productivity.
  • Ensure sustainability of existing business and develop new revenue streams to support long-term strategic growth.

2.     Operational & Project Excellence

  • Ensure project management standards are up to industry expectations, securing competitive prices while ensuring contract margins meet company targets for all projects.
  • In charge of execution of all AI projects on-site, ensuring quality delivery, timeliness, and adherence to budget.
  • Ensure all projects are completed according to design specifications with high quality workmanship.
  • Ensure successful completion and documentation of all projects, ensuring client satisfaction with AI’s service and deliverables.
  • Monitor the design and costing of all projects during the design phase in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Ensure all authority submissions are made timely and in accordance with local
    regulations.

3.    Leadership & Internal Operations

  • Responsible for supervising and managing all operations in KL including Company Operations, Projects, HR, Finance, Procurement, and Business Development sections.
  • Ensure smooth cross-department coordination between Marketing, Design, Project, Procurement, and Finance teams from tendering to project completion.
  • To build a cohesive, positive, and productive working environment.
  • To provide counsel, coaching, and support to the Design Studio team and. promote excellence in project delivery and team management.
  • Attend to any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Group CEO.

4.  Compliance, Reporting & Risk Management

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing SOPs and ensuring compliance with company policies and local laws.
  • Submit monthly project status reports and forecasts to the management for review and alignment.
  • Ensure all projects under your management are completed with zero defects within two weeks of Practical Completion.

What Is Required

  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design,  Construction, or Business-related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ working experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in delivering corporate, commercial, or hospitality design projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage operations and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and client servicing skills.
  • Must be willing to travel as and when required.
  • Familiarity with Malaysia’s construction and authority submission regulations.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin is an advantage).
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with solution-oriented leadership
