The HDB Singapore Office redefines what a government workplace can be through a design that celebrates belonging, sustainability, and a deep connection to the nation’s identity.

As Singapore’s public housing authority, HDB’s mission extends beyond housing. It’s about nurturing community and home. Translating that spirit into the workplace, our concept “The Sanctuary” envisions an office that balances functionality with comfort, inspiration, and a sense of belonging.

Natural textures, earthy tones, and muted greens connect people to the landscape, while warm red accents drawn from HDB’s logo and the Singaporean flag symbolize community and pride. Curved forms and open layouts bring softness and connection, echoing the fluidity of life within HDB towns.

Adding a playful touch, flexible work corners take inspiration from the iconic HDB playgrounds, Watermelon, Dragon, Elephant, and Clock, transforming nostalgia into creativity and collaboration.

Designed as a serene urban sanctuary, the HDB Singapore Office embodies HDB’s purpose of building homes, shaping lives, and strengthening communities, offering its people a workplace that feels familiar, meaningful, and truly like home.
